Bethany Pardee started Bethany Suzanne in 2003 after receiving a BFA in fashion design from Savannah College of Art and Design. She debuted her line in 2004 in Atlanta as a juried high end collection at Americasmart. Her collections of designer handbags and accessories gained recognition through boutiques and trunk shows in Georgia and Michigan. Bethany is also a Paul Mitchell trained stylist and make up artist specializing in bridal and special event hair and make up design. Her creativity mixed with a career in advertising and project management led to expanding into event planning and design in 2023.

 

Bethany's love of 1960s and 1970s music, fashion and pop culture have been a wealth of inspiration for her collections. She received recognition for her Daydream Believer collection from Davy Jones of The Monkees. He auctioned a one of a kind Monkees handbag that was a Bethany Suzanne original in 2011. Her designs have been recognized by many artists from the 60s and 70s over the years, such as Tommy James and Peter Noone.
